Brother + Sister

"Because I have a brother, i'll always have a friend."

The Beyer Family

I was lucky enough to capture this beautiful family in the fall. Their son Trenton was such a joy to photograph! He was all smiles throughout the session - a photographers dream :)

It's a Celebration!

2013, you were too good to me.

Well, it’s that time… time to recap all the amazingness from last year… and what an incredible year it was! In 365 short days, my life was so very blessed!

Personally, I hit the JACKPOT:

My best friend proposed to me and made me the happiest girl in the world. 2013 was my last year as a Bryant (CRAZY!)

(photo credit: CHARD Photographer - our awesome wedding photog!)

I celebrated birthdays, engagements, weddings, pregnancies, and child births with loved ones.

I became "Aunt Danielle she's gonna be my Aunt" to this awesome little girl.

I am sure I'm leaving out lot's of other memorable moments because my cup is SO FULL, but those are certainly the highlights.

Professionally, I also scored pretty big:

I pursued boudoir photography a bit more and have fallen in love.

I rebranded a bit with a new logo that I adore.

I met some AMAZING girls, that just happen to be photographers, that quickly became great friends of mine.

I photographed approximately 60 families this fall alone (yikes!) and overall it was my busiest year yet - Thanks to all of you!

I met some awesome people and continued to grow relationships with incredible past clients.

However, the biggest moment of the year was when I decided to pursue this passion of mine whole heartedly. After 3 years, I will officially be a full-time photographer and I couldn't be happier about it!

Cheers to my amazing clients – many of whom I have the privilege of calling friends – and Happy New Year to all. 2014 has some big shoes to fill, but something tells me it won't disappoint. I wish you love, laughter and pure happiness in the new year. The best is yet to come...!

...Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.

I have always loved this time of year. Suddenly, summer comes to an end, the sun starts going down earlier, and the leaves are changing colors. Before we know it, holiday music is playing, people are obsessing over the red cups at Starbucks and I'm like a little kid every time I drive by a house with Christmas lights up (don't believe me? just ask my super annoyed FiancĂ©.).

As a photographer, I get to see awesome families week after week, I tend to get a bit buried with editing (which I am SO thankful for!), and I have so much fun designing holiday session sets & Christmas cards.

However, this year brought something new that blows all that other stuff out of the water. Every year I try to do something small to give back (donate gifts, work at a homeless shelter, buy a family their Christmas dinner). This year, because of all of my amazing clients, family and friends, I was able to do much more. My very first annual toy drive was such a success because of you generous people. It fills my heart with so much joy that we were able to double what I thought this toy drive would produce this year.

(Here are a couple of snaps I grabbed when picking up gifts from lot's of houses on a very rainy Saturday)

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. I love the hot drinks, light looking, Christmas tunes, smell of a fresh tree in my house, and holiday parties that this season brings. However, nothing compares to being able to spread holiday cheer to those less fortunate.

When I dropped off the 90 wishes that were so generously donated, my heart was bursting at the seams. I feel so honored to work with such compassionate, giving, kind-hearted people.

(a fraction of the 68 gift cards that were donated - not to mention the pile of clothes, toys and electronics)

I am beyond blessed to call you my clients, friends and family.

As promised, anyone who donated a gift was entered to win a photo session with me. The winner of this years toy drive raffle is...

Congrats Janelle Santellan! Contact me to set up your session! :)

I hope you all have an amazing holiday with your loved ones. I hope your day is full of lot's of laughter, good food, wonderful company and too much love surrounding your Christmas tree.

Soak up these special moments with your loved ones...

I know I will <3.

Wishing you the merriest of Christmases,

Madison is 1!
